MBL Consultancy (operating simply as MBL) is a unique business that offers personal coaching, corporate facilitation, and motivational speaking.

The business has been operating was entering a new phase of their business journey. With a refocus in the business, MBL Consultancy was keen to refine their service offering. The business was looking to define what a consolidated direction looked like; refine the narrative, language and story; crystalise the target market; and understand the steps to take this new approach to the market. The aim being to “cut through the noise and engage with audiences where we can have the greatest impact”.

Working with marqued marketing we worked with MBL on two key aspects: brand strategy and redeveloping their website.

We started from the ground up with MBL.

Many businesses are in a rush to get into delivering services without understanding what makes them tick. We get it. But we also know that businesses that do it, are not only doing themselves, and their customers a disservice; they’ll be heading straight back to this point at a time in the future.

We commend MBL for having the courage to stop and review their brand, in order to future proof their business.

So, we got started on ‘the gritty stuff’ with MBL. This is where the hard work was done in building and defining the MBL brand! We focused on building MBL’s brand strategy.

Working closely with the business, we took the business through a brand definition and discovery workshop, the purpose of which was to provide clarity to the business offering, narrative, value proposition and business direction.

The workshop was designed to better understand what MBL’s brand stood for and gain a clearer understanding of their customers. This step is critical in ensuring all future work on bringing the business to market is done in a clearly articulated fashion and hits the right target audiences.

The final output of this work was the development of a brand strategy for MBL that is the solid foundation for the business as it moves along its new path.

The next step in the journey with MBL was to bring their brand strategy to life on their website.

This meant rebuilding their current website. Their current site was difficult for customers to understand the service offering and didn’t reflect the business.

To bring the MBL brand to life we worked with the team through the user experience (UX), which included the information architecture (IA), that is the structure and presentation of the site. Following this, the user interface (UI) was developed.

With the brand strategy complete we were able to develop all of the content for the website in line with the new direction. We then designed the new site according in line with the revised service offering.

marqued marketing worked with web developers, Magic Dust, in the final development stage of the business.

The result is a contemporary website that clearly articulates the service offering.
