The Committee for Sydney is Sydney’s urban policy think tank. Part of the Committee’s program of engagement is the delivery of a frequent events program. They also hold an annual awards gala dinner, the Sydney Awards.
In 2023 the Committee needed assistance with their events program and in particular, the 2023 Sydney Awards. Enter marqued marketing.
We worked with the Committee for Sydney on project and event management, and video production.

Event Management
The Committee for Sydney runs a regular events program, which includes the Awards gala dinner, an annual leadership conference, and member-exclusive briefings.
marqued marketing worked with the Committee on project managing the delivering their regular events program as well as all elements of the delivery of their pre-eminent event, the Sydney Awards.
Delivery elements included: overarching project management, event management (coordination and execution), stakeholder engagement.
The Sydney Awards is a prestigious gala ceremony celebrating the people who make our city special. In 2023, the event was held at the Hilton Sydney and was attended by close to 300 pax influential Sydneysiders.

A key element of the Sydney Awards are the Awards that are bestowed during the event. Five awards were awarded in 2023: Global Sydney Award; City Visionary Award; Unsung Hero Award; Emerging Leader Award; and Western Sydney Champion Award.
To feature alongside the presentation to winners a short video was played during the gala dinner. A total of five videos were produced as part of this program.
marqued marketing managed all aspects of the video production working with production company, Good Chat TV.
